I deleted that commentīy mistake, so much credit to the BZFlag project, which you can find at ! Is not a huge project, instead it was rather a test program Due to that fact I borrowed models from one of my favorite video games,īZFlag, which was clearly stated in the source codes main.c file with a big ol' link the BZFlag official homepage. It seems I made an error! I deleted a large comment that explained the scope and design of my project "tankit." Now Tankit (' being a backtick not a apotraphe) Thanks for visiting my page! Linux/Unix with gcc, type "gcc -o blitz1 blitz1.c `allegro-config -libs` " ![]() Windows/Dos with gcc, type "gcc -o blitz1.exe blitz1.c -lalleg" Blitz1.c was made in 45 minutes flat, (I just barely finished it on time)Īnd Blitz3.c was created in 120 minutes flat (yes, I just barely finished this one too). Instead, they were created with extremely limited time. Just for fun, I made a couple of quick games for the blitz hack exersies. Shoot if I had realized that I had more time. I would have added particle effects, a main menu, and baddies that So rest assured, blitz3.c could have been loads better, but I only took 80 minutes! Not bad forĨ0 minutes if I do say so myself. I can't believe it, I only took 1 hour and 20 minutes instead of 2 hours like I should have! ![]() I really reccomend buying it, and if you do buy it, you're supporting Stikmansoftware! It's only $34.99, and it's very worth it, not only will it help you make better games, but it'll help you to make a career of it too! General tips that will turn your little project into something lots of people will want to play. From making a succesfull charecter to good level design and It will teach you the importance of everything there is to a video game. I'd just like to point everyone to a peice of material that really changed my perspective on what it is to make a video game.
